I began offering my services and love for baking to my church. I served my homemade cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and scones to help raise funds for International Mission Trips. Much to my surprise, my Baked Goods were received with great excitement and at every bake sale held that year, my sweet treats were completely sold out. It was then that I realized that my homemade Baked Goods were special.
Little by little, my pastries became well known in our church community, and after many requests from friends and family, I began to accept and fill orders. Shortly thereafter, Baked Goods Unlimited (BGU) was officially founded and has since seen consistent growth. Ranging from weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, social events, corporate/business needs and those "just because" occasions, Baked Goods Unlimited is sure to please.
I absolutely loved sitting in the kitchen watching my mother as she baked and decorated cakes. While my day-to-day schedule consisted of school, studying piano, and housework, I always found an excuse to take a moment to bake. Throughout the years, I frequently found myself gravitating towards books that related to cooking, pastries, and cake decorating. As a stay-at-home mom, I have been privileged to raise my children while continuing to gain knowledge and experience in this profession as a Pastry Chef.
